Need some help with sport camshafts!

It was running a standard map on the BP270s, I guess Henk at Fastchip would come up with something for you.

Need some help with sport camshafts!

I've run a fair few profiles from different manufacturers, including Cat Cams and Piper. My Clio was used to test the BP270's, on standard timing it had an almost standard idle, nice wide power band and made 192BHP with 12% trans. losses. It's worth noting that the Pipers now come with a shim...

    Rocker cover removal

The rocker cover holds the cams in place and you cannot take it off without removing the pulleys - you'll have to take the timing belt off at the same time.

    197 cam upgrade for 172

Worth a look here: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?694181-Piper-cams-kit Although I would be interested to see what gains can be had from 197 cams.

    Piper Cams BP270 rolling road

I'll have to get someone 'in the know' to map it and see what they think.

    Piper Cams BP270 rolling road

I've run a few cars, and know of others who have on these rollers and they've all been in the right region. I agree to get a good comparison a run with the car standard is required..

    Piper Cams BP270 rolling road

I'm quite aware of that, I should have run it before fitting the cams etc.

    Piper Cams BP270 rolling road

We did a fair few runs, the very lowest was 167, highest 172 ATW. I fitted the cams myself, and YES I did use a pulley locking tool! ;)
