I've run a fair few profiles from different manufacturers, including Cat Cams and Piper.
My Clio was used to test the BP270's, on standard timing it had an almost standard idle, nice wide power band and made 192BHP with 12% trans. losses.
It's worth noting that the Pipers now come with a shim...
The rocker cover holds the cams in place and you cannot take it off without removing the pulleys - you'll have to take the timing belt off at the same time.

Although I would be interested to see what gains can be had from 197 cams.
I've run a few cars, and know of others who have on these rollers and they've all been in the right region. I agree to get a good comparison a run with the car standard is required..
