I raced an imported VR6 (german) in my 172 FF the 172 had the golf upto about 110 then the VR6 started to make a comeback fortunately it was time to start slowing down again so he never got infront!!

depends on the company, i think I have upto 18 days for overseas driving included in my policy. I would imaging it wont be much more than an admin fee tbh

Use a trolley jack much safer/easier There is no reason why you cant use the 3 series jack tho
