This may be a rediculously simple answer, but if you were to buy the revised TDC and Loom is it just a plug and play affair. Does the end of the new loom connect right into the old wiring where indicated? Or do you have to splice the cables where indicated by the red X? Does it connect...

I have the same issue, i've got a large bosch battery which stops the cold air feed, plus side... it never hesitates to start and I can use the radio all day long when working on it without worrying it'll go dead! :D

Right , decided in the end to remove the mount entirely, and cross threaded the mount on re - fitting, but managed to use the M10 bolt to retap the first 5mm of the thread and then connect with rest of thread!! will write this lot up into a revised mk2 guide for the bushes but has been...

Undone the mount top 16mm bolt by about half, and managed to the old bush out without too much pulling, should be able to squeeze new one in...just.

As per title, passenger side was ok, there is enough movement to pull the rack forward to get to the old bush and swap out. problem is the drivers side, doesnt look like it has enough clearance at the top to be able to swap the bush out, will I need to take out the mounting completely to gain...

So after a brief chat with Jade at Scorpion exhausts I have some of the newest centre pipe replacement sections on offer for the RS192 exhaust. A bit of history, I bought mine in July 2012 so nearly 2 years old, but has been blowing on the centre section for some time where a weld had cracked...

Mark informed me that an oil change was not a necessity with changing the cambelt ( as i thought you had to drain the engine!!) , as I thought it was. I did an oil change two weeks ago so no need apparently?

Haha yes my grammar may have eluded my intentions there. Certainly is on the 10 year mark now, if it was a real heap of a car, would still be tempted to see how long it last before it blows up naturally, purely out of interest! Has anyone done this and found they got 80 - 90 k or even more out...

Thanks Chip, I will try again satday with all four plugs out to see if their is any greater variance between readings, hopefully they will still be +/-5 psi at best from around 185, now I best get on the phone to Twotechs/Ren7oaks/Markfish to get some best prices for a full cambelt change! This...

Results are in people. Opted to not remove all four plugs at once but rather one by one as i knew i'd get confused and install incorrectly on the return! Also Only took me and hour for the first time doing this (would have been quicker with extension on hose), how the hell can a garage expect to...
