I have a nokia 6680 and run TT5 with a holux gps receiver and it works great. As my phone doesnt have much memory it won't run much in the background but it can work if somebody calls. I have this connected to a phone holder so it charges my battery as well

Nokia did 5210, 5100 and 5140 all had the rubber protective case, not sure if any good but mates 5100 had a power button problem but fixed under warrenty. Only other one i can think of is a old ericsson phone but i forget the model also was big if i remember correctly

By any chance when you said copying the start folder did you use a program called Hijack This. http://www.merijn.org/downloads.html can be downloaded from here and then the log file can be analysis at http://www.hijackthis.de/ Could be what you did last time?

i've had 3 phones from o2 on contracts (the online contract) and all 3 where unlocked including there own o2 XDA SP so i would think it would be also don't you get a cooling off time with contracts like 14 days to send it back if unhappy?? so if didn't work could do that?

I have TomTom 5 on my PDA and its great can't fault it, used it mainly on long journeys and volume is loud enough to hear over my 1.9 diesel LOL. Only used tomtom so can't comment on any others but i am glad i have it.

Hi I spoted a Green Clio with Cliosport sticker at top of rear window and think the reg was H15 WGG, M1 going North around nottingham junctions. Not sure if it was a Sport or not as only saw the rear but not a standard exhaust
