My Dorris can pull the fuse... lol. I'm looking for 190psi or more with not more than a 5% variance between all 4 cylinders right guys ?
Re: Compression Test - What's the easiest way to dissable the injection and ignition
Cheers bud so the bottom left fuse in your pic? Will it trigger an engine management light? Also will pulling the ecu connector off the coil pack dissable the plug leads to ?
Guys, I want to do a dry compression trust on the wife's 172 cup (ph2). Whats the simplest way to dissable the fuel injection and ignition systems ?? Take ecu plug off coil pack to isolate the ignition ?? What about the injection?? :)
Can anyone pop round to my house near sharston near manchester airport to let me hear their phase 2 172/182 tick over? I'm sure my wife's 172 cup has a miss fire on tick over but she is certain it sounds like all other 1*2's she's heard run!! Can you help??
I retract the previous statement as the missfire is back. I took off the Crankshaft Position sensor and the metal tip is rusted to hell.......the Ebay replacement part sent is wrong so I filed the tip of the sensors end and reinstalled it.........missfire still there peeps................. its...
I know how great french hot hatches can be but the unreliability and illogical designs properly muck me off!! Let hope its sorted soon.... as I need to fix my GT-R which although usually totally reliable (I built it) has developed an electrical fault!!
