I'll do them for £50.
Edit: Just a bit of background on this, I've done mine on my 1.4s, have you got the springs or not? and how low are they?
I'm in chesterfield too.
It won't be the steering rack, I put lowering springs on was fine but too high, chopped a coil off each side and now it does it, think the top mount is not on tight enough.
Hi,
Wondered if anyone can help me...
Does any one know if 13" wheels will fit over my front brakes.
it's a mk2 ph1 1.4s standards brakes by the look of it.
I have 60mm springs all round, fitted them myself, it's not such a big job if I were closer I'd have gave you a had.
Only needed, jack, wheel wrench 21mm spanner,19mm spanner and 18mm spanner and spring compressors.
Took about 2 hours.
Don't know how much it'll damage the shocks though.
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
2000 Clio 1.4s
Iceberg Silver.
12 months MOT 6mo tax.
52k all genuine checked mot's online, no service history previous.
However, have history for rear brake overhall, full new exhaust, new aux belt.
Small amount of rust on right rear arch, over all good...
I'm having a problem with my lowering springs.
I bought a 60mm all round kit to use on standard shocks, until the summer then I'll be buying coilovers.
The back sits really low (rubs with passangers in back) but the front still has about 2 to 3 inch of arch gap.
Wondered if it's a common...
Hey guys,
Could anyone tell me the location of the filler for the gear box oil, I ended up popping a drive shaft out and loosing all my oil.
Don't want to be driving for too long without any.
Thanks
