Yes bring the lines into a tee and out to the prop valve. Make sure any lines that might rub on the body have some sort of protection - old hose or something pushed over.

Thanks chaps. My buddy here in NZ had a clutch explode in a race recently, apparently it’s relatively common?? Thinking of changing mine as preventative maintenance.

Hi wanted to know what clutch people run or recommend for track only car - standard 182 engine and box. Not sure how the standard clutch stands up to lots of high rpm.

Once you start down the road of stripping weight for free gains it’s hard to stop. You look at the car and think “ you’re looking a bit fat” and something else gets taken off. One day your door seals look a bit unnecessary and as it happens they are if you adjust the latch.

I run Koni struts and eibach lowering springs as a cheap alternative. If it’s all about $/fun the don’t worry about the coilovers. The standard engine and setup is really good that’s why people love these cars. You can thrash on them out of the box. Save your money and strip all the weight out...
This would turn out to be a terrible idea. I found the weight of the manual steering ok on the road but on track I found it really hard work and it had totally ruined the car! I was cursing myself on that one.
More to follow....
Interesting- I’ve had no PAS on track for a while and don’t...
Fullriver HC20 is good. Comes with maintainer charger. Sold as replacement for PC680.

First time out with the ‘armstrong’ steering was a bit like....”oh dear what have I done” but I got used to it really quickly. I like the cleaner engine bay and less weight etc. well worth bining the ABS too while you’re at it.

Been running no PAS on track for quite a few races now. It’s all good. Just left my plugs zip tied up in the breeze I think.
