I was at the track today and lost some oil. The gearbox breather had popped out. (Unfortunately it binds a bit with the PMS mount).
After a bit of googling for issues it looks like all JC5 boxes have one breather…… but I have two…..surely not.
Anyone else seen this??
I’ve been out on track once and this seems to have shifted to a different issue. Cleaning all the electrical connectors in the engine bay fuse box helped, including’the white plug’.

Ok so most of my driving is sprinting - 15min track sessions at most and I haven’t had any dramas. I guess you could try it by blanking the rack off. I think you can buy a kit because the lines have really unusual thread forms.
I have a fully stripped 182 track car. Last track day the car would go into a sort of limp mode after cornering exceptionally hard. I could coast, key off and crash start immediately tho.
Some sort of electrical sensor loose wiring??? Thoughts?? Aim to scan tool it soon.
pic for...
Yes bring the lines into a tee and out to the prop valve. Make sure any lines that might rub on the body have some sort of protection - old hose or something pushed over.

Thanks chaps. My buddy here in NZ had a clutch explode in a race recently, apparently it’s relatively common?? Thinking of changing mine as preventative maintenance.
