I have a bit of similar a problem with my air con in my 2002 172... It only blows either hot or cold, no in between. If it is set on any temperature below the max heat it will be cold but if it is on the max heat it will be as hot as it should be. Would that be a regas or is the thermostat...

Ah rite, I changed stereo over a couple of months ago. Take it I need to pull my stereo out and stick my hand round the back to find the chip then?

Hey there, The lock button on the inside of my clio 172 has stopped working so i can't actually lock the car from the inside. Has anyone got any ideas on what's caused this? Is there a fuse anywhere for this or u fink it soemthing else? I'd be grateful if someone can help me out. Cheers :D

Hi I kind of have the oppostite problem....my tempurate is constantly saying that it is 43 degrees....up here in West coast Scotland...I wish!! Does anyone know why it is doing that, apart from the obvious that it's not working properly? And does anyone know how to fix it? Cheers

My car was doing this for a while and i changed the CV boot as it had hardened and wasn't very rubbery anymore. Re-packed it with grease and hey presto...no more noises.

I've got this problem with my 172. If it's warm and i go to start it it sometimes just ticks over and doesn't start. Have to leave sit for a min before it goes. Can anyone point me out the TDC sensor so i can give a clean or whatever to see if it makes a difference? Cheers.

I have had a knocking noise from the front of car and have had it checked all round by a dealer who can't find anything. I thought it might have been the c.v joint or driveshaft but aparently not!! One of my springs is broken right enough which i'm getting replaced but would that make a noise...
