    Welcome, I use Bridges Renault in Cirencester (outside Swindon), great service & good value (24k service was £220 all in). Not sure about pads, but as said elsewhere, buy them from a specialist & get someone to fit them for you. good luck

    finally got my v6

    welcome to the club! I had the same problem with my alarm, got renault to de sensitise the alarm, that did the trick. With regard the exhaust i got a k-tec stainless back box & a BMC CDA induction kit. Best noise on any car ever!!!! enjoy the car & get used to the attention

    V6 255 alarm problems

    I had similar trouble with the alarm on the my Mk1 V6 (are they the same alarm?). I ended up taking it to the dealer & asking them the de sensitize it. Cost me 1 hours labour, but at least i could sleep & the neighbours didnt hate me anymore :oops:
