Got an 08 plate clio campus and all of a sudden it decides to go all dolally on the digital dash. Sometimes when you start it it tells you that you have no fuel and the fuel light comes on when you have a full tank..other times the service light comes on. And sometimes its absolutely fine...

Hi..im getting battery drain on my clio so i take it to the garage and they run some tests on it..they say its the alternator. So everytime i finish a trip i take the 60amp fuse out from under the bonnet to temporary cure the battery drain problem and get them to whack another alternator in...
no..i think your misunderstanding. That plug that you have left over is not factory standard. If your returning it back to factory then i suggest you trace the connector back and try to remove it.
CCU(*) Connector (C1 on the diagram) = Central Communication Unit. This is the way the HU receives stalk control commands and sends information to the dash display.
Get a battery charger, take the battery out, give it a charge till its fully charged..prob take about 2-3 hours max from empty. JOB DONE. If problem persists then get a new battery. Not worth getting new one if all that is needed is a top up.
That black plug doesnt look like factory connector and needs coming out to my knowledge. All the plugs (3) That you have connected to the factory stereo are all that are needed for it to work properly
