    My blue oval

Thanks for the info. I have put a deposit down on it and due to pick it up on Saturday. Might test drive another one today for piece of mind and to compare. To be honest its probably just me being pedantic and being used to driving a lazy auto for the last year. Fingers crossed everything's fine.

    My blue oval

Hi Pint. Pictures look good. I'm in the market for a Zetec S at the moment. I test drove my first one yesterday. A 58 plate single owner car on 28,000 miles with full service history. The car felt great. The only thing I'm not sure about is the gear change and I was wondering if you could give...

    Internet Through a Power Socket

These work well in almost all homes for all internet and network applications. I have a pair of gigabit Netgear Powerlines. One in front room downstairs by router. One upstairs in bedroom which is connected to a 1gig 8 port switch. Never see network issues or struggle with speed. I have these...

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

How was the oil filter housing gasket change? Mine is leaking and I've got the gasket at home but haven't quite got round to getting the job done. Could you possibly say how long the job took? Really like your car, especially the wheels.

    Timps' Fiesta ST

Ha. When I said I don't think he knew we were racing, that should be read as he definitely didn't know we were racing. He looked too much like a discerning gentleman to be be dragging from speed cameras. I was just excited as it was the first ST I'd seen. Also he was 100% winning on mpgs. Roads...

    Timps' Fiesta ST

Raced one of these with my 330ci and destroyed it. To be fair I don't think the guy knew we were racing but a win is a win. It also looked very nice. Lovely car.

PLAYERS CLASSIC '13 - GoodWood Motor Circuit

Can I ask why all the pictures have that awful filter/effect on them that just makes the pictures crap to look at? Its not as if the effect even reflects the content of the pictures. Modern cars with modern (mostly crap) modifications and then an old fashion like filter makes no sense.

    E92 335i

Is the power steering and noise from the front end a new warranty claim? If so does that mean you have to pay another £100 excess? Hopefully they fix these problems and then its trouble free for a while.

    E92 335i

I got a quote for my brothers 58 plate e92 330i M Sport he recently purchased. Fully comprehensive with £100 excess and no emergency service came back as £39.28 a month. This warranty defiantly makes the prospect of owning a used BMW much more appealing. I will be recommending it to him. I'd say...

Wheel arch on my 182 tore off!

No problem mate. Enjoy it. I miss mine a lot.

Wheel arch on my 182 tore off!

Is that a picture of your actual car? You said in your original post that your car has both cup packs, but the car in that picture only has the suspension pack (anthracite alloys), not the spoiler pack. If you had both cup packs you would have the bigger spoiler and a front splitter trim.

Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics (If you fancy a laugh)

Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics. Not even going to bother trying to argue with someone who has clearly no knowledge of what they are preaching. Also I think, in the future, leave it to your mate to educate people. He has clearly said something to you which you have not understood and has then...

Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics (If you fancy a laugh)

Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics. What the hell is a tension cycle and hard acceleration cycle? Bro Science has finally reached the world of cars. To save money I just poor used cooking oil in my engine. Its all the same thing really and still lubricates the engine. Engine oil is just an...

Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics (If you fancy a laugh)

Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics. OP writes that only mileage and not age matters. Dan post a picture of a car where the belt has clearly failed because of age and not mileage. Op comes back with "A poorly maintained car will show this". If OP would like to explain how that car is poorly...
