i had some on my old 400bhp subaru, to be honest i found them to be lethal in the wet!!!
i ditched them after a very short while and went back to toyo T1-S's
well it should smooth the airflow and let a little more air in, not a lot really but if i am going to the lengths of fitting a matched manifold and a remap i may aswell fit the bend, as they say every little helps :)
last month i spent quit a bit on mods.
i got a lot of the big things out the way like wheels and tyres, de-cat, eibach sportlines, K&N panel filter and a replacement centre for my scorpion as it had cracked!
this month i have fitted some cheaper bits :)
cup/182 front splitter-
type R...
mmmmmm...... 64mm ID 90deg elbow, blue £24.10
think i will pop along to the shop through the week and check the lengths
i will also need a filter for the breather pipe.....about £5!
seen them on e-bay, they don't finish for 5 days and i bet they go for more than they are if you just phone him (if he answers :) )
cheers kully, got your PM mate :)
what is it with hillpower???
been on their website, there are pics of it but no price!
tried e-mailing them but it just gets bounced back!
tried phoning and there is no answer!!!
great!!!
anyone else do a silicone bend that will communicate with customers?
foam filters like piperx and itg give poor filtration compaired to the cotton style like k&n and green but the foam filters do flow better.
if you are looking for good protection go for a k&n style filter, if its power only the itg foam style is the one to go for.
