hi,has anybody changed/had the rear abs sensor changed on a 172? my rear passenger side one is faulty just wondered if this was an expensive,tricky thing to replace? i see on renault spares a new 1 is about £137!

So tonight I've had both rear wheels off and cleaned the rings,no cracks or missing teeth and cleaned the sensors. Just been for a drive and same intermittent problem ( abs kicking in ) could this possibly be a knackered sensor on the rear?

How much u reckon I'll be looking at for that?

hi,need some help working out the source of my problem!just had my front passenger abs ring changed as 2 teeth were missing and causing the abs to kick in/pulse through the brake pedal at low speeds,just picked my car up the abs kicking in has gone thank god but the esp and service light came on...

if the rings are cracked are these easy to replace or will i get all the usual crap about needing a new drive shaft etc? wanna do this on the cheap really!

i have same problem with esp and service light,the abs kicks in sometimes causing the wheels to lock! replaced the brake sensor switch which did not do anything.had it hooked up to the renault computer whilst driving and my mate thinks its something to do with the hairpin sensor.gonna try...

hi,yeah i swopped them over the other ignitor/bulb works fine so im sure its the ignitor. yes i got the ballast off ebay and i've just ordered a ignitor from your ebay shop.cheers
