hi,has anybody changed/had the rear abs sensor changed on a 172? my rear passenger side one is faulty just wondered if this was an expensive,tricky thing to replace? i see on renault spares a new 1 is about £137!

So tonight I've had both rear wheels off and cleaned the rings,no cracks or missing teeth and cleaned the sensors. Just been for a drive and same intermittent problem ( abs kicking in ) could this possibly be a knackered sensor on the rear?

How much u reckon I'll be looking at for that?

if the rings are cracked are these easy to replace or will i get all the usual crap about needing a new drive shaft etc? wanna do this on the cheap really!

hi,yeah i swopped them over the other ignitor/bulb works fine so im sure its the ignitor. yes i got the ballast off ebay and i've just ordered a ignitor from your ebay shop.cheers

do these washer really need to work? my mate said there a waste of time and that i should snip the pipe and block it off. but iv'e seen people say u need them to pass mot but other people say it's a load of rubbish. 1 problem after another at the minute!!

I hope it ain't the bulb only bought them brand new 2 days ago! It seemed to work when we fiddled with the ballast pack and went off when I put it back in, think I will buy a new ballast then if not that another bulb!
