I like Dimma Clio's, not in that colour, and i'm not keen on Morettes, but that's a better effort than most i've seen. It's since had a respray in Liquid Yellow and looks a whole lot better. It was featured in Performance French Car a few months back.
Here's a close-up, there is a slight ghosting effect caused by reflections on the inside and outside surfaces of the glass, but isn't really noticeable when driving. There is a tinted sticker with the HUD that is supposed to reduce this but i never bothered applying it. BMWs with HUDs have...
I fitted one of these to my mk1, easy enough once you figure out which wires to tap into. For the speed signal, there is a 3 pin white connector attached to the speedo cable. I think it's the black central wire you need IIRC, for the revs, there is a multi pin connector at the back of the dials...
The top of the door is angled toward the camera so it's not obvious. It would have been clearer if it wasn't cut off at the top of the pic. Here is the source pic i used.
Was a bit bored and wanted to test a new graphics tablet out, so i came up with this. Red car is my own, Yellow Dimma would be my ideal. I know Lambo doors are completely stupid and impractical, not to mention horrendously expensive, but they are eyecatching. :)
HUD is called a Defi VSD Basis (Virtual Super Display). Bought off an Ebay shop in the US for about £80 last year. Gives speed and revs as a digital readout and a row of 7 blue LEDs (can be set the other way round, if desired) 3 different brightness settings, works in bright sunlight) Easy...
Thanks, planning to add a few interior bits and pieces. LEDs to illuminate the interior door handles and EL tape to give a soft glow in the footwells. Pic of the sunvisor, looks great with everything on at night.
What i'd do: lower it, lose the light masks, colour-code mirrors, blacken the mesh and add valver wings and bonnet. Front bumper isn't my cup of tea, but doesn't look too bad. Overall finish looks good. Could do with a subtle rear spoiler too.
Copy/Paste wheel onto the car, then fill in the white areas using the clone tool with areas of the ground. Copied the new rear wheel onto the front whilst using distort tool to squash it. The simple method is to supply better source pics. Ideally, perfect side-on shot of the car and rims (If...
Not normally a fan of the euro style, but they do look good. Did a quick photoshop of how they would look on my own car.
