I'd reckon its to do with activation, from the link displayed in the video its looking to authorise/authenticate use.

Thanks guys, appreciate the kind words. It really is! Probably the best silver I've seen, a lot more flake in the paint than most silvers you see I think. Looks better in the flesh anyway.
