Cam journal scoring

Rather than hijack the other thread, is it worth taking off the high spots and using this head again, or is it scrap?

Thats nothing on the grand scale of things. Could take the high spots off if your fussy, id prob just send it as is.

Only need to be real fussy if its going to be a mega money high rpm build.

They almost do you know! Maybe i need to worry about where all the others have gone in the other journals then🤣

I wouldn’t even remove the high spots. The cam journals are one of the areas that wear and affect top end oil pressure.
