same bloody thing with my cup at 20k too.renault wouldn't replace it via warranty but they did fit it free(although its not that hard) cost me £42.00 ish.then the other side went too so I changed all for some koni's (worth every penny) transformed the car.

hi clio devil,tricky on even for me (tecky)id go for the diesel one as the output will be better-plus put a diesel battery on it cos itll hold the ampage better.

yeah not bad,had em on mk3 1.6 16v.
just put k tecs on my cup theyre great (even better cos i got em cheap)
buy the best you can afford but you may end up gettin the better ones
next time.

got the same thing on my modded cup,yep its the suspension top bearings
and mounts.just changed mine again after changing the springs,easy job as
you dont need any spring clamps(cup) cost me less than £30 for bearings and
new rubbers(trade).
no banging now exept the base :approve:
this happened to my cup@only20k,cut the bolts off cos you probly wont be able to use
them again anyway and get some new nuts n bolts from b+q or motor factors.
put a system on if you can itll save you money as the middle section aint much cop
either and itll gain more flow too.call around...
sounds like there no betterdown here in doncaster.same sort of problems for my cup172 when it went into service at 24k,diabolicle service (im a tech at subaru) so couldnt do it myself and keep up waranty stamps etc.
took it to ezra sugdens in worksop (fan flippin tastic) totaly different...
stripped the brakes off and replaced all discs and pads,i noticed that rear pads where fitted wrong(dealer)and when we played with brake compensator
it got the brakes working enough to pass the test plus the dealer is still going to replace the faulty unit.
