Budget £10k.
What the hell shall I get?
This is purely a car for fun. 1000 miles a year. Couple of track days a year, that's it.
- Clio 200 Cup and loads of money in the bank.
- Megane R26, money in the bank
- Megane 250 Cup, no money in the bank.
What do you reckon?
Hi Chaps.
I'm looking for yet another new car. I was thinking about a Mini R53 GP, Puma Racing or Focus RS.
I then got thinking about other limited run cars and thought of the Clio Trophy, forgive my ignorance but what made them so special?
Should have kept mine, wish i hadn't sold it. AST2 suspension etc, built by Mark Fish Motorsport.
I was thinking of 200 Cup but i did love the 172, would have to have Recaro's though those std seats are pants.
What on earth has happened to 172 Cup prices, i bought a Cup about 8 years ago. 70k on the clock and in good condition for £2k.
Just looked in the classified, same sort of car will sort of car seems to be about £4k, what on earth has happened. I didn't expect these to become appreciating...
I'm about to put my e46 m3 up for sale as i do about a 1000 miles a year and it seems a waste and a bit of overkill for a fun car and i loved my old 172 Cup.
Looking specifically at the Clio 200 Cup with Recaro's, it got me thinking though, in this modifying world of ours am i better off saving...
Looking to get back in the fold. Had a long line of fast motors but always had a soft spot for the slowest of them all, my 172 Cup, admittedly it had AST2 suspension, r888's etc.
I bought an e46 m3 in December and don't use it, i have 1yo and 3yo kids which limits free time. I'm going to sell...
