Hi Guys,
I bought this car some years ago, and I've been maintaining it myself since then. I've found lots of information here in the forum but still have this issue:
It is an intermittent fault, I'm pretty sure it is an electrical fault... present in all kind of conditions, cold start, warm...
It CAN be done without removing manifold, I have just done it, you just need to remove air filter box, and if you want more room, take battery off. What I found helped a lot is to remove the earth to the gearbox and the two bolting points of the engine loom nearest to it, also disconnect the...
Thanks Mick... I'll repea th test with an osciloscope and see how the waveforms look like. Engine loom is brand new, I'll re-check pedal wiring and potentiometer readings... Although I've noticed that after executing rz008 erasing throttle limits learning the car feels way better each time...
I don't know it the TPS (internal in TB) is on its way and ECU trying to correct, or geartrain im TB is worn and TPS currently showing a mechanical problem... Either should be new TB.
Average measured throttle position looks somewhat erratic 2nd plot, and if you look at track 1 looks to me very noisy... But I am not sure if it is normal. Anyone done this before?

Same story, new lambdas, new plugs, leads, coil pack, dephaser, correctly timed, engine loom, ultrasonically cleaned the injectors and replaced o-rings, car feels better but still the same symptoms, I bought a set of new injectors, if that doesn't cure it, it will be new throttle body :( hope...
I did mines with all the MOT tools, but after some surfing I found these, and they should work pretty well... worth to try, should be almost free to build http://imgur.com/a/unKew#0
