Thanks for that, I'll change it round tomorrow :) I've only just bought the car so it's not being driven at the moment while I sort out the issues on it, unfortunately I think the previous owner did quite a few miles like this.

Hi, I've got a bit of a problem with my 172 cup. The aux belt has been rubbing on the plastic cam belt cover near the crank pulley. I've replaced the belt with a new one but it's still doing the same thing. Pic of old belt It's worn away quite a bit of the plastic and I'm not really happy...
