So... Changed the offside driveshaft which was a bit of a ball ache as the bearing was stuck in the carrier. Nonetheless the noise is still present! It only happens on right hand down full lock or near enough a clonking and/or doinging sound. The car has new shocks and Cooksport springs...

Noticed on there website they only stock one for each side. No mention of cup or non cup driveshaft. Anyone had any issues with this? Sent from my PCT-L29 using Tapatalk

Hey Got a terrible banging creaking at full lock and driveshaft both have some play in them. Where is cheapest to get genuine ones? Seem K-tec sell the offosde for the non cup 183 for £150 but can't see the nearside ones. Sent from my PCT-L29 using Tapatalk

Tried fitting my clubsports today but they were too low so I've put them back on the sliders. Only problem now is the channel in which to fix the sliders to the subframe is too narrow for a socket over an M8 bolt. What have other people used to fix these? Sent from my PCT-L29 using Tapatalk

So my cat really started to smell sometimes, the typical rotten egg smell etc. Very noticeable at idle when your not moving. But it only does this occasionally? Doesn't matter about engine temperature and its seems very sporadic. Also its just passed the MOT as the emissions were perfect? I Have...

Just realised when I originally fitted the decat (April? Sat in the garage ever since) I had the K-tec set of bolts. Since then I've purchased and fitted that original set from RPD which had longer bolts so it might well fit if I try it now. Doh!

So I bought a Scorpian decat a while ago along with a genuine Renault cat fitting kit. But as you can see from the pictures the gasket sits out far too much on the decat which means you can't get the nuts onto the bolt as they don't pull through enough. The fitting on the original cat is fine...
