bought my flamer without ever seeing on in the flesh. best colour for a 172. In the sun it is absolutley awesome. Was a sad day when i sold it but deepblack is just as good

Thats a bit harsh had my 172 for 4 years and didn't have 1 build quality issue the whole time. All this fuss about rattles and squeaks. or maybe i was just lucky. The V6 is a real head turn and rare how many people look at M3s these days. lots of them about

having had my 172 for 4 years now its time for a change just waiting for the order code from renault for the R26 lux pack then mine will be ordered. Always thought my 172 was the most fun car to drive until I tried the R26. Its superb never driven a car with so much grip. Go for the R26 you wont...

that was one of the reasons i chose the R26 another was the low down pulling power due to the turbo :D

Matt yes could well have been me and it was every gear. I desperately wanted to have one of the new type r. I love the look, the styling but I didnt find it as much fun to drive as the R26

seat leon good looking car from the outside bland inside civic type r feels cramped in the back performance and handling felt OK gearbox, oh dear not good having three attampts to get it into gear. 197 not to my taste so thats why the 172 is going for a Megane R26 what a car knocks spots...

Yes it is the MK2. Just spoken to Ktec very helpful once I get it confirmed that it is the centre section tomorrow will get a replacement sorted on Monday.

ive been really happy with mine. seems to use a bit more petrol for some reason. that may of course just be my heavy right foot !!!!!!!!

dont know if my is doing the same but when i get to about 3k rpm it sounds like nails rattling about inside it. Only started today so will hopefully speak to ktec tomorrow.
