that was one of the reasons i chose the R26 another was the low down pulling power due to the turbo :D

Matt yes could well have been me and it was every gear. I desperately wanted to have one of the new type r. I love the look, the styling but I didnt find it as much fun to drive as the R26

seat leon good looking car from the outside bland inside civic type r feels cramped in the back performance and handling felt OK gearbox, oh dear not good having three attampts to get it into gear. 197 not to my taste so thats why the 172 is going for a Megane R26 what a car knocks spots...

Yes it is the MK2. Just spoken to Ktec very helpful once I get it confirmed that it is the centre section tomorrow will get a replacement sorted on Monday.

ive been really happy with mine. seems to use a bit more petrol for some reason. that may of course just be my heavy right foot !!!!!!!!

dont know if my is doing the same but when i get to about 3k rpm it sounds like nails rattling about inside it. Only started today so will hopefully speak to ktec tomorrow.

Mine tends to do this when the temp drops to about freezing point in the winter. Reno reckon the only cure is a new instrument panel

I spec'd a 197 as close to my 172 as I could and it worked out at 17.5k if you want the liquid yellow it was another 12oo on top. The standard 197 only has a two speaker stereo as well. Whats that all about. Now thinking of paying the extra and getting a Meggy 225

will get them to give it a thorough check for leaks when it goes in to have the brakes sorted next week. thanks for the help Pete

yep just had a ktec fitted very happy with it. Maybe its my fault for gunning it everywhere to hear the noise

now ya talkin have used ACAD from 10 through to 2000 and LT the same. TurboCad and microstation from version 5 to version 8, then moved into PDMS before giving it all up to concentrate on engineering now. No more CAD unfortunately.
