i just checked it out.... the surround IS a heavily chromed plastic ( its cold when touched ). the actual bit that you pull to open the door is chrome and not plastic, this is a genuine reno item. if in doubt ask at your local dealers. Raj

some early phase1's have manual sunroofs all have electric mirrors apart from the willy 1, different style seats, more bucket type. Also some limited ph1 have abs.

as i understand it there are two oil senders on a valver/willy, for the oil guages, my dipstick guage works fine, but my temp and pressure dont work. Where are the senders located? how much do they cost? and which ones do what? any help appreciated!
