i got hold of a 197 spoiler foc, think its a gt 1 i was going to sell it. but i rekon i could mount it on my 172 fairly easy not sure if it would look good or really shocking? anyone on here done it? pics? cheers

i get the fogs symbol light up when i brake as well probly a bad earth somwhere, not too bothered by it. a bad earth could be all of those things tho or a short where the looms rubbed through sumwher

hi, went to take my front struts off today but both strut tops are really rusty. put a bit of plus gas onto them but they wouldnt budge and about to round out allen key. im going to put a air gun on them tommorrow at work try an shock them loose just wondering if there likely to shear off?? lol...

sounds a bit like the diff has gone, but wouldve probly been clunking on turns for a while before going then rattley if you had no noise at all then is a bit starnge

haha must be a setup, theyd never all shear off at the same time

id drop the oil see if its silvery full of swarth

ive not had it long but the exhaust is stupidly loud, looked under and it looks like a standard mid section onto a twin exit backbox sounds straight through so probably losing me power? was going get a standard backbox but bumpers been cut away so will look gash, unless i weld a tip on which tbh...

i got some apex 40mm drop springs cheap was going to put them on, but car handles really well on standard setup just dont like the high look. anyone else put these on? dont wanna put them on then find ive fucked the handling. any advice, cheers

thanks for all the replays, litarally bought the car a few days ago so havent had much time to look into it, car starts fine but is an old battery il test the cells ect, and both lights condensated and cant see a crack so il have a look for the cap. cheers
