To be honest based on what you say about the speed you were doing on the roundabout it does more sound like there was a bit of diesel or something on the tarmac, even with cheap rear tyres or mis-matched grip you shouldn't be experiencing that level of rear end action without some heavy right...

I've got a rear caliper that seems to be sticking a bit via the handbrake mechanism, the rear wheel and disc is running a little hotter than the other side. I've just replaced the discs and pads and given the calipers a quick regrease etc and it helped a little but still not right. Figured I'd...

Perhaps not what you wanna do but I got a leather wheel from an 07 Clio Campus Sport that was accident damaged, only cost me 20 quid and it is in pretty good condition, not an RS wheel but matches the car well and still retains the airbag

Just left it for now, poked under the plastic sill cover. Been away for a week or two and come back to sticky rear brakes, got that to sort now...
