MS5s and OD-8000 are now installed. I think MS5s sounds very nice from the HUs amp, because it is a Tripath amplifier. It develops 4x70W MAX and 4x33W continuing. Im just :D and :cool: to the result. Much better sound than the standard speakers and HU.

Today I bought DLS MS5 components to the front and Blaupunkt OD-8000 active-subwoofer to the rear. Should be installing them in weekend... :D

Week ago I bought blue Simoni Racings car mats to the car. Looks much better than the old rubber mats. Yesterday I put bitumen in the front doors and today I should be doing the rear doors also.

Just fitted new HU to the car. Old Sony crap came out and brand spanking new Panasonic CQ-C9901N came in. First impressions are :cool: . Unfortunately I have standard speakers, so I cant get full potential out of the HU... but change is coming to that soon.

Have any of you installed new tweeters in top of the dash, in place of the old grilles. Im going to install them right in top of the dash. I think they sound a way lot better than inside the dash.

My car does that also even though I dont have any alarm system. I think that it is a very nice feature. Also I like the feature, that when I start driving the car, doors will lock automatically.

Is it that easy to fit 6.5" speakers in front doors in MK2? Just take the plastic thingy off and the hole is big enough for any 6.5" speaker? Im going to buy DLS MS5 but if it is so easy to fit bigger speakers, I might go for the MS6.
