The only other differences with a normal 3/4 series are the engine… and the drive train… and the brakes… and virtually every body panel. Agree on the interior unless you get full leather interior which completely transforms the inside. You also don’t get the carbon trim on a standard 4 series...
Has anyone else also been charged with a £10 admin fee? Went to cancel, got offered 40% off but then tried to charge me a £10 admin fee. Ive told them just to carry on with the cancelation instead
If you can afford to do it, do it! It has been the most fun car I've ever owned so far. I had a choice between this or a cayman S. the Z4MC won it for me personally just because of the sheer brutalness of it!
I bought private yes. However, providing the car has a full service history by bmw or a bmw approved garage, you can still take a warranty out on the car if you want. Personally, I didn't.
This one has extended leather Ali so really is a nice place to be sitting. It sold today, 21 hours after first being advertised. I had the 3.0 coupe before this and went down the CSL route with KW coilovers, looked absolutely fantastic
I've ran this now for 6 months and so far nothing has gone wrong at all. they're usually pretty reliable. Mind you this has only done 23,000 miles so wouldn't expect anything to go wrong! Insurance for me was only £30 more than the 3.0 version I had before this. Tax isnt cheap though, £475 a year.
So, I've owned this for a little while now but never got round to taking pictures of it till now due to thinking about selling it. Anyway, plenty of pictures for your viewing pleasure:
