So, I've owned this for a little while now but never got round to taking pictures of it till now due to thinking about selling it. Anyway, plenty of pictures for your viewing pleasure:
I've ran this now for 6 months and so far nothing has gone wrong at all. they're usually pretty reliable. Mind you this has only done 23,000 miles so wouldn't expect anything to go wrong! Insurance for me was only £30 more than the 3.0 version I had before this. Tax isnt cheap though, £475 a year.
The interiors a bit marmite, but overall they are great cars. I enjoyed mine for 4 years...Fair few problems as the old yank build quality isn't up to much. But £ for £ they are great cars.
CSL's and Eibachs make them truly one of the best looking coupes on the market...3rd only the AMV8 and the SLK Black.
This one has extended leather Ali so really is a nice place to be sitting. It sold today, 21 hours after first being advertised. I had the 3.0 coupe before this and went down the CSL route with KW coilovers, looked absolutely fantastic
Did you buy privatel (if you don't mind me asking) I'm not sure whether I should buy private or spend a little more and go for one from the dealers just for peace of mind in case anything goes wrong.
I bought private yes. However, providing the car has a full service history by bmw or a bmw approved garage, you can still take a warranty out on the car if you want. Personally, I didn't.
If you can afford to do it, do it! It has been the most fun car I've ever owned so far. I had a choice between this or a cayman S. the Z4MC won it for me personally just because of the sheer brutalness of it!
