Thanks Alex Not noticed it because its probably been like that since I bought it...along with the broken engine mount and a plethora of other bits of cowboy maintenance. Broken engine mount did make it challenging going round right hand corners quickly though... @welshname

Nah, I was hoping the gasket was causing the misfire as it was blowing...

Really starting to feel a bit of hate towards this car after the grief it's given me...It's recently had a replacement alternator, p/s pump, aux belt and tensioner and it has had misfire issues in the past which has led me to change coil pack, ht leads and plugs; fault actually turned out to be...

think the newage are topfeed...certainly are on the stis...yours are side feed.

check the inlet side for oil...iirc you don't have a catch can; oil in inlet caused me some issues when i first started modding mine :)
