And the 182 "Cup" suspension really does seem to make the car a much better handling car (from reviews I have read and peoples experience of driving the 182 with it)
Since we wont be getting the Cup options anyway, I guess it doesnt...
Funky, thanks for the input. That helps.
I guess Ill have to wait untill they arrive (March/April) and take a drive. That will decide it between the Clio, Cooper S and Pug GTi 180.
I used to have a MK1 172, which is why Ive been waiting for the 182.
Having heard that South Africa wont get the cup options, Ive started to doubt whether I should still get one.
Have any of you Clio fanatics seen or driven a 182 without the Cup bits?
How does it look with the silver wheels and is the handling that different?
Hope someone can help.
Just heard from Renault South Africa that we will NOT be getting the cup options here at all, except perhaps the spoilers which could be after market fitments.
Boo Hoo :(
The reason given is that the cup suspension option is only available for the UK. Is this true??
Hey viceroy
I spoke to Laurent Marty, the Clio product manager at Renault SA. He told me the 182 will be available here in March 04 at around R200k.
Am still waiting for feedback on which of the Cup accessories will be available, but am seriously thinking of putting my name down for one in...
remove the headrests (when youre taking out the back seats to save weight) :)
Seriously though, mine dont rattle, but perhaps you could try some of that insulating foam. Pull the hr out, squeeze some in the holes and put the hr back in so that the foam expands around the metal bits before it...
 Err - yeah sorry all - blue monday and all that. Oops - its tueday!
I just got mad cos I saw a post I was really interested in and 10 replies down the page there was still no answer.
