Clio 4 rs 200 edc

  Clio rs 200 edc
Hi all,

I have begun my journey.

I bought the clio edc last year which had the central res delete, lowering springs and a forge Bov.

This past couple of weeks it has had the following additions:
Wagner intercooler
Sytec fuel pump
Mamba t19 turbo

Plan to take it up to Chris at EFI tuning to get it dialed in.

Some pics added.

With the new turbo, boost felt strong but i didnt want to push it before getting it tuned. I have however just noticed that boost has started limiting itself to roughly 400mbar. Anyone had this before?

Id be careful booting it before map, fuelling might be very lean, or ecu could be limiting it to stop it boosting to the moon.

Check for boost leaks before mapping.

probably self preservation. check the codes on the ecu. id do nowt but partial throttle with a bigger turbo on, itll be running lean when you boot it

id also fit the oem actuator and get it mapped asap

Thanks all. I'll get codes checked and avoid driving till it goes to get tuned.

@Adey, why do you recommend the stock actuator?

So I made the long drive from london to liverpool to see Chris at efi tuning. Cannot remcommend enough, really knowledgeable and takes his time to get things working correclty. Bit of a trek, but was worth it. (Adey - thanks for the recommendation!)

Anyway, results are in guys, 300hp and 260 torque.

Very happy with the results on our daily car that drops the kids off to nursery and daycare! 😁

Chris was saying that we were limited on torque due to the clutch. Boost comes in at 3500rpm and boost pressure is 17psi.

Cost wise buying turbo, intercooler, fuel pump, coldside pipe work, efi tuning all cost circa £2700. For an additional 100hp, I'm happy!
