What Clio next

I sold my 172 sadly to buy a A45 AMG, the car is damn Fast and fun but i miss my "slower" ratterling Clio with its french Build quality.

Im looking for the following cars what would you recommend

Clio 197 Ph1.
Clio 182 Fully restorated and Racing interior
Clio Williams Fully restorated and Racing interior
or any Clio 1.8 16s/Williams thats in a good condition.

I like the 182 and Williams that allready have a Cage and all the track parts on it but on a 197 id also do these mods. The main purpose is gonna be track and take it for spins on weekends.

I believe i could own a supercar collection and you still see a clio in the back... great damn car.

I’ve owned both, mk2.

The 197 make a good track car, but parts are a bit more money but with prices of 182`s on the rise a 197 could cost the same or less to get into.

We had a 197 Cup race car so it would be cool. But the 172 also was a fun car so a 182 would be nice too.

I've got both and really really like the 197 they are just absolute money pits, the MK2 is much cheaper to run but are now getting more expensive and harder to come across.

Gonna get a 182 then. I loved mine it was such a cool car

Went from 172 Cup to a 200 Cup.

Both fantastic but 200 Cup in a different league in capability and build quality.

The prices are now overlapping and decent mk2 are getting expensive, making a similar or even better condition 197/200 look like a comparative bargain imho.

Why not a 200/220 edc? With the edc gearbox it’s like a a45 (cough) but with french build quality and they are fun. Easy enough that you can fettle with it and more than capable.
