Got my renewal in from Adrian Flux for my Clio which was set to renew on the 6th Feb, they wanted £716.13. Gave them a call and they managed to hack off £51.73 by actually using my correct details and not just ones they used from 2 years ago (useless c***s). So now we're at £664.40, told them I'll agree, refund the £51.73 but I'll be looking elsewhere to get a better price. I don't think 1500 miles, 10 NCB and never actually using the car anymore warrants that much, I just keep it insured incase the garage falls down on it
Rang Keith Michaels, straight through without waiting, gave them a few details and it genuinely sounded like someone on the other end of the phone knew what a car was. Banged my details in and it came back at £570, he assured me that was the best he could do, he even knocked £25 off as it originally came back at £595. So I'm already £94.40 better off with them
Rang Flux back and the lass on the phone tried everything she could to keep me with them. At this point I'd already had a far better experience dealing with KM, she kept me on hold for 20 minutes, all I wanted to do was cancel it. I just entertained it to see if she could get me some mad price
It came back £7 cheaper than Keith Michaels price🤣 So that was the best they could do, why not just give me the best price possible the first time round?! I still cancelled the renewal with them for the fact I've spent over an hour total f**king about with them. Why do they purposely make it hard
