Goodness me 🥵

All 5 commissioned for 1 lucky owner.

Nostalgia…. Really does sell.

S1 LM is absolutely stunning, and far better looking than the T50 and T33. Imagine being in a position where you can commission a run of five supercars from Gordon Murray too...

Imagine getting into a car like that, with an engine like that and thinking,
“You know what Gordon, there’s just a bit too much interaction. Can I have an auto. And more cup holders. Can you do autopilot? Gordon? Gordon???”
Idk. Never understood the manual fascination.

Not sure why pushing your leg down and moving a gear stick is so much more involved, so much more rewarding and gives you so much extra car control over two flaps next to the wheel.

My opinion, anything over 250bhp I’d choose dual clutch. So yeah, would never have one in my 182 of course. But I hate the manual in my Golf R and regret not choosing the DSG.

It's obviously personal preference ultimately, but you've kind of answered your own question really. It's the fact that you have to move the gear stick and push your leg down that gives you the additional involvement.

It’s the fact that you’re controlling the revs, gears, and you end up driving the car differently.

They have their place, a dsg doesn’t ruin a car. But a perfectly heel/toe downshift in a manual is great, and enjoyable at any speed. It’s just pushing a button in a dsg.

Each to their own
