Do you need to know if it is actually a cup or if it simply has the cup pack suspension? IIRC the Cup/Cup pack has different bolt spacing compared to standard.

What I’m mainly after is if the cup and none cup have different sized driveshafts as they need changing, and how would I tell if it has the cup packs?

Pretty sure its only phase 1 that have longer driveshafts. 182 Cup differences are only hob to shock bolt sizes.

Also offsets is a term for the alloy wheel hub face position, nothing to do with suspension/driveshafts etc

There are 3 different length driveshafts available for Clio’s.
Ph1 172 (shortest)
Ph2 172 all models and 182 Non cup (middle)
Ph2 182 Cup (longest)

Measure the bolt holes between your two lower shock bolts and it will be 54mm spacing for a non cup or 60mm for a cup.

Some people (myself included) struggled with normal sized shafts with the car running so low so I swapped to Ph1 shafts. If you turn right and get a rumble - you need shorter shafts.

Good luck. 👍🍀

What about 172 Cup drive shafts? Aren’t they different than the other three too?
