Fitted back on the car last night - makes such a difference for only £300 - SSL Horbury Wakefield.

Also found out that we have a fancy Disc skimming machine at work that bolts on the hubs - should bring the face up to look like new.

I’ve not had the cover off No63 for a while - however I’ve put her on charge in anticipation that the weather may change - gave the backend a quick polish and brasso’d the gorgeous tail pipes - roll on the summer 🚗🏆❤️

First polish since being put away last July - still looks a stunning thing in my eyes.

These seat backs are in amazing condition for a 19 year old car -

It’s going back to work hopefully soon so I can bring the Megane home for a while.

Had No63 on the road yesterday - picked her up on the way home from the auction's so I could clean up the rear brake disc's as there not coated like the front one's - gave her a wipe down underneath at the same time and tightened up all the bolts as it's now done 500 mile's since the refurb in 2022.

Then a quick polish at work before going back in the garage - Maybe get it out again on Sunday for a drive up to the Motorist.

Last week No63 had an outing to the Collecting Cars Motorist day - so the night before I treated it to a full ceramic coating and scrubbed up the interior pedals which have come up lovely - I also got out the Magic Sponges and went over the exterior door seals again -

I can only imagine how slowly you drove on that gravel Nick 🤣

Car looks stunning as always.

No63 was treated to some new Grams rear exhaust rubbers a few weeks ago to slightly lift the rear back box up a touch - I don't think they look out of place in black -

Still lovely under there even two years after the refurb -

After just seeing Jon’s @Mr Underhill post which looks awesome as usual I thought I’d post my spring clean too from Saturday

Quick wipe down ready to come out soon for a service and some other little bits doing - coolant fluid to the correct Renault spec being one -

Also fitted a new gearbox trim too which I purchased last year -

Nice to have a little time to finally get No63 out yesterday for a polish - and after seeing everyone’s wonderful little Red cars a few weeks ago at the Alpine F1 factory I thought I'd get it out, does make me smile when I look back to how it looked when I first bought it over four years ago

🚗🏆❤️

I’ve got a new restoration project coming soon, should be a challenge however I think it will definitely deserve the effort in the end, hopefully I will have it ready for this years CSF for some track time - not that I will be able to drive it like this lot.

The Big underneath
has now begun - made great progress today with stripping everything off

Powder coating bits to take on Monday / Callipers same for a total rebuild and paint.

Can someone let me know what colour to do my front subframe - Silver or Black.

Also what colour do I paint the underneath of the car and in the wheel arches and ideas of what to buy.

When you see a subframe like this, it looks as simple as bolts off and on. I would love a new subframe on my 200 - just for perfectionism.

Looks oem at a glance. Any close up pics of intercooler through the bumper grill?

K&n sticker on airbox so might have a drop in panel filter upgrade. Wash and go instead of replace if decent.

The clio 182 trophy is great, but for everyday car hands down the mk3rs just walks away from it easily from my daily driving, I drive a 275 daily ots just easy to drive fast as a road car imo

Yes the Megane’s do drive fantastic and are way more advanced then a 182 Trophy - however I love my current winter daily especially with all the pot holes nowadays.

It’s not for sale Sir, also you know I like the grief of making them as good as I can get them.

Why do you fancy one ???
You do like the pain 😂

I'll be looking to get back into something later this year I reckon! Need to swap out the e92 for an estate of some sort first then something fun will be on the cards.

Looks great, looking forward to the progress!
