DAB aerial base?

Has anyone fitted a combination aerial base to their 1*2?

Something similar to this?

Any successes or not? Just intrigued - to remove the DAB aerial strip from my windscreen really.

I have one on my clio, it did work ok, windscreen one is better. However that is now s**t as dab reception is piss poor near me

Prob get the same out of an amplified dab splitter wired to oem aerial.

Was fitting it straight-forward enough mate? Was thinking of using the original aerial code to act as a draw cable to pull the additional leads through?

Does the existing cable run straight down the middle of the car, or do it head off towards one of the A-pillars diagonally?

Fitting is easy enough. Pull headlliner down a bit to access aerial, cable runs down rear pillar. You wont be able to pull through cables, you will need trims off to route.

Might not be a bad thing as I'll be removing trim at some point.
