I agree, but it’s kinda inevitable I guess. They buy cars, they fix or modify them, they drive them. Not much else they’re going to be able to do really.
Problem for me is they’re throwing out so much content, which the algorithm kind of forces if you want to do it full time.

Spoilers, but I think that one was a bit of a miss, a V6 TT or T5 Volvo would've been way more interesting to me than an ST. Perhaps they have more YouTube appeal

It is all about finding channels early before the creators realise they can really monetise their own content and start optimising for it (usually the differentiating factor is expressed in its purest form at that point in time, which is the main reason people are hooked on the content to begin with). This whole rinse and repeat process is a good strategy for content creators but it is a waste of time for the audience for the most part. Unless you want to just pass the time and relax and any content would do which is totally fine obviously.
I don't mind TDC's repetitive format, I don't really watch it for the cars I watch it because they're funny and likable blokes.
There's loads of car building modifying content, but not all of it is interesting because the people are either dicks or boring as f*ck.

The Late Brake Show is a good example of what I am trying to say. When I first discovered the channel it was awesome and the guy was definitely likeable (many years ago). Now I can't stand him at all. It is just way too obvious that for the right money he will defend any opinion.
Same goes for jayemm (especially after the accident that his follower had) and many others.

A Collecting Cars episode about Will turned up on my YouTube, not watched it yet but probably will. I know he just bought that Lambo, seems he has a Ferrari as well, and an Lotus Carlton, just going by the thumbnail. These boys have some serious dosh!
And what about those cameramen... Mat's one just bought his third Lambo (why have basically three of the same car, bit weird) and Mark's cameraman just bought an R8.

I think they are all company cars. Probably on tick through the company to say VAT or however it works.
Like Liam's R8, when Ricky was giving him the repair options and he said something along the lines of "That will be up to Mat". Why, if it's your car? I don't go asking my boss to pay for my car to be repaired.

You might be right. I always thought it was just because Mat has way more money and is his mate. Like if I had £££ and had bought a car for my mate that had broke, I'd just pay for it to be fixed if it went bang. Not for @dann2707 though, i'd have no money left after buying all the booster seats in the world for him to see over the steering wheel.

I moaned about TDC in this thread being repetitive, but I'm kind of enjoying it again for the reasons you mentioned. Some funny editing as well. I just wish they'd spend maybe one or two more videos on a particular car, but I realise that isn't what the algorithm demands. I am enjoying their videos being a bit longer now though.
