Potential coilover issue

So I’ve bought a set of maxspeeding coilovers for my kangoo build and have came across a slight issue when I’ve went to fit new standard top mounts, on the standard shock and also other coilovers brands for clio there seems to be a further shoulder on the shock insert that isn’t present on the maxspeeding units, means to say now when the top mount is fitted I’ve less threads to screw the outer cup on on the engine bay side.. anyone else came across this before?

Maxpeedingrods are not well made coilover units and i would be surprised if they last 6 months.

It might be a general design they have for the coilover and not specific to the Clio/Kangoo. My only thought to help is a set of aftermarket/track style coilover might fit better.

Get the shaft machined or solid top mounts might work?

Being honest id expect them to be crap so be best to return/sell on and buy a better set.

Standard shocks and springs would be faster on most roads I'd imagine, them things will have you bouncing all over the road
