the engine mount ive bought was secondhand, and was just the metal part..My local autofactors wanted £125, but i guess that would have included the bit below at that price...
Well, after being told by the garage that my offside engine mount was cracked, i bought a new one, only to see that its not the mount thats gone, its the rubber bit it sits on, so i need to know what that part is called, and how much its likely to cost...Car is a 1995 1.8 16v by the way. Cheers...

oh didnt realise all valvers were like that, glad to know mines not got any problems, but its still annoying having to clean around that area of the engine bay every week..
I have fluid coming out of the power steering reservoir cap - is this a sign of damage in the system or faulty components?? Ive changed the powersteering fluid and its still doing it , everytime after driving the car, there will be fluid on the top of the cap, so whats going on?!?
After taking the engine and gearbox out my 1.8 16v last weekend, since putting it back in the oil pressure guage doesnt read anything at all (engine is running fine lol) so obviously theres a wiring fault - where do the wires for that guage run to?? (It was temperamental before removing the...

The engine really is crammed into that small bay, it took me all day to get the engine out!! Anybody who wants a guide on getting the engine out/changing the box on a 1.8 16v, i can probably write one up quickly....

Hi guys, im going to be removing the engine from my Clio 16v tommorrow, to fit a new gearbox in, and just need to know if there are any special knacks to doing it, anything i should watch out for/do to make the job easier, or is it a case of following the haynes manual?

on a Clio 1.8 16v (1994), got spark plugs literally dripping with oil, and oil in the chambers they are located in, whats it mean? Big engine repair bill or what?
Im assuming its piston rings, but dont know for sure....

oook this gets wierder. Basically, before when i did a check on the car online, using VIN plate, it says the number is incorrect, and im very sure the previous owner said it was 2 owners, but same one for the last five years?!

Hi guys, im new to the forums. Just bought myself a Clio 1.8 16v last sunday, already got problems with it (needs a new gearbox!). Before the Clio i had 2 Novas that both died becuase of rust, so i felt a change was needed...
Anyway, heres some pics for you...
