I've just taken my 182 for its first MOT, on which it's failed due to the 2 back tyres not having enough tread but the thing i'm more concerned about is the fact they pointed out that the front 2 tyres are nearly at the legal limit. I only replaced them 9 months ago with goodyear eagle f1s and...
I've got an artic blue 182 with recaros and both cup packs. Bought it last july and think its the nuts. luckily enough to stumble across it on autotrader, had to travel 200 miles to get it but was definitely worth it. havent seen any other around either.
other cars i've had never did this so i've always used clutch control so have only recently noticed it. i actually quite like it, saves having to feather the clutch all the time in traffic
I've noticed that when i'm in 2nd gear and take my foot completely off the clutch and accelerator the car never stalls. It just constintally carries on going. the revs dont seem to be any higher than they should be, around the 1,000 mark.
also when coming to a stop the revs occassionally...
has anyone relaced the side lights on a 182 to a xenon style white bulb?
i love having xenons but think the yellow dim of the side lights lets them down slightly.
did anyone have any advice on how to do it and just how easy it is to do? also which bulbs are best to get?
cheers
Just found the sales info on renaults website regarding 182's and have discovered that there's only 25. I own one of them and wondered if anyone else on here owns one??
Cheers Joe, not sure off the top of my head of which garage u mean round there but i'll find out.
Spoke to the dealers in Wrexham and they quoted £458.50 with no aux belt change as "it only needs changing after 72k miles". Now they are either charging twice as much for just a normal service...
My main aim for my car is to make sure it's running as it should be. Couldnt give a sh!t about adding flashy lights, body kits and all that rubbish. I bought the car cos i liked the way it looked as it was and most of all for the way it drives.
I'm happy to pay the money in order to get a good...
Yeah it was £484 for the service and the belt change.
I'm not that fussed about having a full renault service history so would prefer to save a couple of quid instead each service. I've only had the car for a couple of months tho and plan to keep it for a while so would like to get it done...
I've just rung up my local Renault dealer in Chester after a price for a 36k service on my clio 182 and got quoted:
£236 standard service, or
£484 inc accessory belt change
I know it's not meant to be cheap going through Renault but i didnt want to pay that sort of money.
Has everyone...
Thought it might have just been a design fault as it only comes on with long sweeping left hand turns. At least i know now though if it comes on at any other time i better had check the brake fluid and pads.
Cheers
I bought my 182 in July and was lucky enough to find one with the Recaros in it. So glad that i did as well cos they look fantastic. They are a bit stiffer than normal seats but still very comfortable.
I think they just make the car stand out from other 182's and are definitely worth getting...
I've had the same problem with my 182 however the lights only seem to come on when i'm doing a long left turn. The lights both come on but as soon as i starighten up they go off.
Thought it was a bit strange as it doesnt on long right hand turns.
Think my break discs are quite worn by now...
I was wanting to upgrade my door and back speakers so that i can get a better sound quality but want to know how easy this is to do?
I've got a Clio 182 and just just hoping that they can be replaced easily without much hassle.
Does any one know how to remove the plastic grill covers? they...
That looks quality. i've been thinking of doing something similar to mine. if anyone finds out where u can buy them on the net can u let me know please?
the standard light is really dim and hardly even worth having
I was thinking of buying this head unit but heard that the scrolling functions through the head unit can take a while when searching alphebtically through ur songs.
Does anybody know if u can just chose a song directly through ur ipod to play?
Cheers
I've just fitted my mates stereo and it works perfectly with the steering controls without an adapter. Its a Sony CDX-GT30RN and worked a treat.
I'm under the impression that because it's an '05 model i need to pay for the more expensive adapters which is a right b!tch!
Has anyone got any...
I was wondering if any one knows if there were any head units that you can buy which are automatically compatable with the steering controls on a '05 clio 182. I know you need an adapter for other head units which are compatable but these are adding quite a bit to the overall cost of getting...
havent had my 182 long but i've drove with it off but i'm sure i saw it cut in going round a corner in the wet. not sure if it still cuts in even tho its off. has any one else found this?
