Personally i would run the battery in some kind of box, protect it from potential shorts and also protect you from it leaking etc. Depending how the exhuast runs over the rear beam will show you how hard it is to move. It may move just enough for you to do so.
As has been said, i deal a lot with samco and have had my own kits made in the past and is something i can get done. If a custom kit is to be made then a minimum order of 12 has to be obtained first with everyone paying a 40% deposit. The tooling then will be made and dependent on future sales...
As has been said an induction kit isnt always the best way forward for your car. At the end of the day it depends on what you are looking for. If your chasing bhp figures then is the air box really that much of a restriction? If your looking for more noise then an induction kit is propably...
