I had this same problem on my clio. It seems that sometimes they screw them on, sometimes they rivet them on, sometimes they stick them on etc. Mine were riveted on like yours, I tried for ages to pull the plate off but i was worried that if i forced it the rivet would have just pulled a huge...
yeh ive got a block colour coded one, 1.2 surprise surprise! cost me £200 to get it all done thats including painting my spoiler, he did a good job of it. Ill try and get some pics up.
Those black k-tec lights look tasty tho! Might have to start saving up for them...
Theyre rubbing on the inside of the rim on the rear tyres, especially on the left hand side. Im thinking of getting the inner lip on the arches sanded down, but it seems a bit drastic and ill have to get it re-painted so it wont rust...
My tyres are rubbing on my arches ever since i lowered my car. (Its -40mm on apex springs and happend with 4 people in the car). I spoke to the garage who fitted them and they said theyd get me some spacers. However they got back to me today saying theyd rung 6 places and none stock spacers for...
Ive had the same problem. I put 17s on my dynamique, lowered it 40mm and the rear arches would rub on the tyres with 4 or 5 people in the car. You need to sand or grind away the inner lip on the rear arches and it should be ok after that. Its not even difficult to do, you dont need to worry...
I have heard of people modifying the original orange glow in the dash to a blue one just like in VWs. How do you do this? I thought that the bulbs were normal bulbs with an orange filter in front of them?
Does anyone know how to perform this modification coz it sounds pretty cool, its the one...
I have come to that time every boy reaches in his life when i want to lower my car. Now there are two options, either 35mm lowering springs or 60mm springs, which i cant decide between.
I could go with the 35mm option and be safe in the knowledge that there will be no rubbing, but i am...
Not that im planning to do it or anything, but i was just wondering to myself how viable it would be, if you could get hold of one, to transplant a 2.0 172 englne into a lower end clio? I would have thought that the engine bays being the same size it wouldnt be too much of a problem?
Am i...
i might be able to excuse lexus lights on a mk1 clio but definitely not on a mk2, either pre- or post- facelift. They will only ever look half-decent on a white car, but who the hell wants their car in white anyway??
So i dont understand why so many people have them?! In the gallery section i see so many clios that would otherwise look damn good but the effect is ruined by the damn lexus lights!!
A lot of my friends are telling me to get lexus lights on my clio. I refuse, not on the basis that my car is black, but that fact that they look absolute w**k on any colour car.
Now i can make an exception for the new k-tec black lexus lights ONLY on a black clio, but anything other than that...
Ill go and make sure they are done up tight. They are a set of Fox 4 in 17s but I bought them second hand off a mate with the same model clio as mine. His car was lowered 35mm but there was no rubbing at all with 5 people in the car and a full tank of petrol. Mine isnt even lowered and it...
I fitted a set of 17 inch alloys to my clio today (they look sweet by the way!). However whenever i steer left I can hear a loud creaking noise from behind me on the right. Any ideas what it could be and how it could be solved?
I dont really know much about wiring and amps and stuff like that, but i took my amp and sub out of the car today, and when i disconnected the wires leading from the amp to the front of the car, the two bare wires touched and there was a big spark. Could there have been any damage done?
