If it's topping out at 110mph (On your private road) then something is clearly wrong.
Could be any number of things causing a loss of power. Any other symptoms?
Yes almost certain you have snapped one side.
Usually go where they meet the calliper.
Change them both to be safe. About £55 from Renault for the pair.
Easy to fit just a PITA having to remove the exhaust heat shield to do it.
It is happening due to moisture trapped inside the car.
Best fix is to remove the moisture.
You can buy the bags of water absorbing granules on ebay for a couple of quid. Just leave a couple of them in the car for a few days and the problem will go away unless of course there is water getting in...
I'm all booked up for this. Unfortunately not taking the bean as I've been offered a seat in my mates Focus RS. We are on the ferry on Thursday morning driving down in convoy with an Audi S4 and a Focus ST. We are camping at Bleu Nord so hope to see a few of you over there. This will be my first...
As title an 02 plate Black 172 non cup with a huge colour sticker in the rear window.

My cup packs and Recaros are declared on insurance but add no extra on the premium. When I questioned if they were counted as modifications was told that as long as they were factory fitted options they were covered. I must admit that I do feel better having them listed on the policy to avoid...
Think there are a a couple of cups and several on cup suspension.

Having seen the sticker thing in the back window I would suggest the stripes are the least of your worries. :D
Other than that looks like a clean car to build your no claims in.
