Alpine IDA X305s. Fitted in my bean and is superb.
Was very tempted by the Pioneer equivalent unit but it protrudes a huge distance out of the dash and IMO looks gash.
I personally wouldn't dismiss a car because the stickers are missing. I would rather have a well repaired/painted car with missing stickers than a very badly repaired car with a replacement bumper bought from a scrap yard with stickers still intact.
The fact you are aware of the reasons why...
The cat 1 alarm was a dealer fit after import into the UK. cars without the alarm and attached light are either imports or the lazy dealer couldn't be bothered to fit it before delivery.
Had mine jacked up at the rear on Tuesday while changing my seats. After putting it back on its wheels it was still looking a bit high on Wednesday afternoon when I went out.
Back to normal today.
As many have said just give it a few days/miles and they will settle.
My Clio is lowered on sportlines. Jacked the rear end up with a trolly jack and managed to slip my 13 stone frame under the car with little difficulty. Could easily have got the cat and exhaust off if necessary. Getting them back on correctly on the other hand...............
Took my phase II seats out today suspect the phase I is the same. As above four bolts under the car. Two nearest the sill are hidden under rubber grommets. Inner ones are accessed via holes in the exhaust heat shield. There is a guide somewhere. 13mm deep socket is required.
Passenger was grabbed as he tried to walk away looking very casual...... Driver was found hiding under a bush in a nearby garden by a police dog. very chewed up looking arm.
Poor little 182. Parked up in a quiet residential street in North London when a stolen Audi A6 lost control at a T junction. Spoke to it's owner who told me had just spent almost £2K on a full engine rebuild. Poor bloke:dapprove:
Best of luck obtaining those figures from a remap. :rasp:
Popular opinion is that a decent remap of a standard car will not give any real gain in peak figures. There will however be a noticeable improvement in throttle response and smoothing of the torque curve. Been discussed may times on here.
My Ida x305 will throw up a similar error if I unplug my iPhone without switching to another source first. I always change to the tuner now before unplugging and have had no more issues.
