Has anyone got any pics of a standard 172 mk2 which has been lowered about 40 or 50 mm. Thinking of getting my second 172 and considering lowering it want to see what it looks like first.
Cheers guys
No offence mate but £10250 is not that much of a bargain. I was offered a pre reg cup with 7 miles on for £9950. And have you not read the section in the handbook on running your cup in first 650 miles should not be taken over 4000 revs or 70 mph. then up to 1500 should gradually up the revs.
I bought a clio cup at the wkend and on the test drive it seemed to me that the limiter is at around 6800rpm, is the correct? I used to have a VTS that went to 7500rpm so I think it could do with being slightly higher in the cup.
Does anyone know how much a superchip would raise this rev limit?
The reason I asked is I have driven two cups and they both seemed a lot stiffer. The cup brochure says the springs are stiffer. Not sure what to beleive.
Need some help. I was under the impression that the cup front springs were 3mm lower and 10% stiffer than the 172 items is this correct or im I misreading renos info.
