Thanks for the help. How did you manage to hide the wire running up to the snooper? I have had a go and I just cant figure out how to run the wire. Do I have to remove the dash? I might take it somewhere and let them do it.
Please could somebody help me with wiring up a snooper. I want to hard wire it in to my cup so that it comes on when I turn the ignition on. Is this easy to do? At the moment I just use the cigarette lighter but want to get it installed properly so that it looks neater. Some step by step help...
I have not had an aftermarket exhaust before and I dont think it is too loud. They have a silenced centre section so apparently that makes it not too loud. I think it sounds quality, more purposeful. Makes the cup sound how you would expect a car like that to sound. It sounds quiet deep on...
I have just recently got the KTEC Stealth one fitted to my Cup. I think it is really good. Takes a bit of fitting to avoid it rattling on the static rear axle, but cant fault it other than that. Good customer service too from the boys at KTEC.
The standard exhaust is one single section up...
I bought my cup from Dixon Renault, Clifton Moor in October 2002. They took delivery of two of the first ones, mine and one for one of the salesman. I got a call from them a week after taking delivery. I thought it was a courtesy call but infact it turns out they gave me the wrong car...
I dont think that is b@llox. My insurance company did that for me. They said that if I stayed with them they would give me the equivalent of 4 years NCB. I think they can offer bonuses to try and keep your business. If there are more competitive than anyone else, then why not?
I have seen a picture somewhere on this forum of some cool lights. They were Mk2 and looked identical to standard ones but had a clear lense. Can anyone tell me where to get it done?
Thanks
Can anyone tell me how to remove the door cards on my cup? I want to start adding some sound deadening material in preparation for my install. I noticed that there seems to be a series of screws along the bottom of the door card, fastening it to the door. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Can anyone tell me how I would go about hard wiring some neons into my cup. I thinking of putting some in the foot wells. I thought about using the cig lighter as a 12V feed. Some step by step instructions would be good.
Thanks
Havent done it in a clio but did it in my VTR when I still had that. What I did was to buy a replacement accelerator pedal just in case. Because of the lack of space behind the plastic pedal due to it clipping on to the metal arm I nipped to B&Q and bought some self tapping screws with a similar...
The only difference was that the VIN no. was different. I didnt really think to check it at handover. I presumed the garage would give me the right car I suppose.
I think the second one is more responsive and picks up much better anyway. Maybe because I didnt hammer it from day one and ran...
I phoned R-Sport the other week. The ECU is ready and available and I was told is 200 notes. It is a direct replacement, not a chip upgrade or piggyback system. The bloke said it removed the flat spot at the bottom of the rev range, improved fuel consumption and gave more power. He mentioned...
Love it. Loved my first Cup as well. The garage made me give it back when they discovered that they had given me the wrong car, and my actual Cup had been sat in their showroom for a week!!! Oh well. 500 free miles!!!

I had 6x9s last time when I had a saxo. Not only did they blow fairly quickly, but like you said Malice once I unplugged them I noticed a huge difference. It is so hard to make a choice. Every shop I have been into tells me a different story. Ice Direct in Peterborough are having a sound off...
What do you guys reckon to this system I have got priced up and am thinking of having installed in my new cup?
