Not sure why you'd be suspicious, Admiral are a large insurance company, part of the CEI group (bell, elephant, diamond etc) I have been insured with a mix of these over the last 10 years for me and the missus, untill they didn't recognise a DC5!
I found that having an experienced named driver...
I think you have missed the point here! I agree that alot of people embelish the truth a little when describing the condition of their car, this I have experienced alot.
He arranged for me to view the car, told me a time he would be there (his father even believed he would be home) then; 1...
The accident repair wasn't related to the crack in the front bumper, it was on the rear quarter under the filler cap and the rear bumper was out of shape. The crack was an extra!

Not so much his description that annoyed me (although that helped) the fact he didn't even leave the keys with the old man is what really P**ED me off.
Went to look at a clio 182 FF with cup suspension on Saturday.
Phoned guy up Friday to arrange a viewing , at first I couldn't pin him down to a day/time, asked him if he actually wanted to sell the thing:S . Car was an incentive bought by his dad to start work, now had a Focus ST. Finally...
Is the spoiler different though or just the brake light? I appolgise in advance for my thickness
Hi Bjorn,
Nope i don't reckon I will be. Maybe I'll get a loan and go back to a DC5!
Definately, prices varying so much seen sum 04's for around 7k or less with mid 20k mileage but these are colours the missus don't like. Reckon yours is about right for a 2005 on this basis then.
Re: Quick Insurance Question
Some mate:eek:
Get some advice from the Citizens advice bureau, just to be safe.
Then kick the Sh*t out of him, bundle him in the back of a van and dump him at your local pikey site. They can use him for tarmac'in someones drive.
Hi,
Hopefully going to look at 182 FF tommorrow (if not too late, again!) It's arctic blue, 19k FRSH and meant to be mint. He's the second owner and had it a year from 7k miles. Meant to have cup suspension pack fitted as an option but no spoiler pack, however he purchased this from renault...
Definate Scam, don't give him your email address by emailing him! Loads of these on pistonheads and gumtree! If price too good to be true and no contact phone number, definate......scam
I've never driven a scooby but I had a Standard Evo VI back in 2003 which was awesome.
I drove a clio (172 cup) for the first time yesterday and was pretty impressed with it. It is an excellent car in it's own right, if you bare this in mind you won't be dissapointed, if you compare it to the...
New baby on the way is reason we are buying one! Was gonna get a Civic Type R but decided to buy a family car and a 172/182 for bout same money. Trouble is I'm ending up with the family Car!:(
How does that work out??
Bought family car private and will be buying clio private as well, still...
I reckon she could handle a Cup, she had a Integra Type R (DC5) 18 months ago, and I let her have a spin in my EVO VI a few years back (hard to get rid of, still hurts)
